The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,189.42), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Benares, Blue Is The Sky is the most expensive artwork by Mortimer Luddington Menpes that we have observed at auctions so far.
