In November this year Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Flower of the Tea by Mortimer Luddington Menpes. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 39,360.00 (€ 23,865.70), 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Mortimer Luddington Menpes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,189.42) in June 2011 for the work Benares, Blue Is The Sky.

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower of the Tea von Mortimer Luddington Menpes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 39.360,00 (€ 23.865,70) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Mortimer Luddington Menpes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.189,42) im Juni 2011 für die Arbeit Benares, Blue Is The Sky beobachtet.
