Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Iran iantriangle Of Hope by Monir Farmanfarmaian was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 163,283.62). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Monir Farmanfarmaian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Geometry Of Hope, which sold at auction in April 2020 for GBP 375,000.00 (€ 431,378.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Iran iantriangle Of Hope von Monir Farmanfarmaian kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 137.500,00 (€ 163.283,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Monir Farmanfarmaian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Geometry Of Hope beobachtet, die im April 2020 für GBP 375.000,00 (€ 431.378,37) versteigert wurde.
