Auction result well in line with expectations
The work George by Mona Kuhn was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,240.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mona Kuhn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Merle, 2003, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 15,128.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit George von Mona Kuhn kam im April 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.240,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mona Kuhn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Merle, 2003 beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 15.128,95) versteigert wurde.
