Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ad 6387, 2014 by Mona Kuhn was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in April 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,714.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mona Kuhn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Merle, 2003, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 16,250.00 (€ 15,128.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ad 6387, 2014 von Mona Kuhn wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.714,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Mona Kuhn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Merle, 2003 beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 16.250,00 (€ 15.128,95) versteigert wurde.
