Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Composition) by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2009. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,544.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Continuita x3 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 113,400.00 (€ 134,348.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Composition) von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.544,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Continuita x3 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 113.400,00 (€ 134.348,37).
