Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Untitled (from the Figurative Series) by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,900.00 (€ 22,391.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Continuita x3 in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 113,400.00 (€ 134,348.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (from the Figurative Series) von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 22.391,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mohsen Vaziri Moghaddam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Continuita x3 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 113.400,00 (€ 134.348,37).
