Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Marilyn Monroe partially nude under the sheets with Bus stop 1956". 3 Original-Photographien. by Milton Greene was sold in the Photographie auction at Koller in June 2019. The price achieved of CHF 1,250.00 (€ 1,133.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Milton Greene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nelly Nyad (1952) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).

Die Arbeit "Marilyn Monroe partially nude under the sheets with Bus stop 1956". 3 Original-Photographien. von Milton Greene wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Photographie bei Koller versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 1.250,00 (€ 1.133,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Milton Greene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nelly Nyad (1952) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24).
