The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,708.10), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Milton Greene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nelly Nyad (1952) in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 15,275.00 (€ 18,000.24).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.708,10) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Milton Greene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nelly Nyad (1952) im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.275,00 (€ 18.000,24).
