When the work Psychedelic Afternoon by Milan Kunc was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2019, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 8,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than three times as high at USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,494.52). This high result makes Psychedelic Afternoon the most expensive artwork by Milan Kunc that we have observed at auctions so far.
