Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Marion Cotillard #2, Paris 2010" by Mikael Jansson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,828.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Mikael Jansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kendall Jenner, New York studio in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Marion Cotillard #2, Paris 2010" von Mikael Jansson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.828,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikael Jansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kendall Jenner, New York studio im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.228,11).
