Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Iggy Pop #3, Miami Studio", 2010 by Mikael Jansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 150,000.00 (€ 14,520.26). Other works by Mikael Jansson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2017 by the work Kendall Jenner, New York studio at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Iggy Pop #3, Miami Studio", 2010 von Mikael Jansson im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 150.000,00 (€ 14.520,26) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Mikael Jansson wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Kendall Jenner, New York studio mit GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.228,11).
