Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with pheasant, roemer with lemon and bowl with fruits by Michiel Simons for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 8,527.92). This price was achieved in the auction Klassiska at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michiel Simons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips, carnations and other flowers in a vase, grapes and peaches in a porcelain bowl, with glasses of wine, a peeled lemon on a dish and other fruit on a partially draped stone ledge in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 116,000.00 (€ 124,623.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with pheasant, roemer with lemon and bowl with fruits von Michiel Simons für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 8.527,92) erwerben. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tulips, carnations and other flowers in a vase, grapes and peaches in a porcelain bowl, with glasses of wine, a peeled lemon on a dish and other fruit on a partially draped stone ledge im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.000,00 (€ 124.623,98).
