Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life Of Fruits Including Peaches, Grapes, A Pear, And A Lemon With Assorted Game Arranged On A Table Ledge With A Roemer And A Porcelain Bowl by Michiel Simons was sold in the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,459.86) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michiel Simons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tulips, carnations and other flowers in a vase, grapes and peaches in a porcelain bowl, with glasses of wine, a peeled lemon on a dish and other fruit on a partially draped stone ledge in January 2001 with an auction result of USD 116,000.00 (€ 124,623.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life Of Fruits Including Peaches, Grapes, A Pear, And A Lemon With Assorted Game Arranged On A Table Ledge With A Roemer And A Porcelain Bowl von Michiel Simons wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tulips, carnations and other flowers in a vase, grapes and peaches in a porcelain bowl, with glasses of wine, a peeled lemon on a dish and other fruit on a partially draped stone ledge im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 116.000,00 (€ 124.623,98)
