This artwork by Michaela Yearwood-Dan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction, the work Let’s just take a breather sold for GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,635.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michaela Yearwood-Dan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Love me nots in February this year with an auction result of GBP 730,800.00 (€ 833,575.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michaela Yearwood-Dan erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Let’s just take a breather für GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.635,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michaela Yearwood-Dan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Love me nots im Februar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 730.800,00 (€ 833.575,21).
