Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs Including Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which included the work Transparent City #88, 2007 by Michael Wolf. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,178.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Wolf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
