The work Night #1/ Hong Kong by Michael Wolf was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2011. It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,273.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Michael Wolf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.

Die Arbeit Night #1/ Hong Kong von Michael Wolf kam im Oktober 2011 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.273,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Wolf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tokyo Compression Revisited, 2012 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
