In January last year Grisebach held the auction Online Only 2021/2022 - Third Floor Online Only, 17.12.21 - 9.1.22, which included the work „8 Stunden Weltzeituhr, Berlin“. by Michael Wesely. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 750.00 36% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Wesely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Point Lobos“. in October 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 36 % übertroffen
Im Januar letzten Jahres führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2021/2022 - Third Floor Online Only, 17.12.21 - 9.1.22 durch, in der auch die Arbeit „8 Stunden Weltzeituhr, Berlin“. von Michael Wesely zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 750,00 und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Wesely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Point Lobos“. im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
