Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,323.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Singletary - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coloured People, which sold at auction in May 2020 for USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,951.88).
