Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work RR Chimes II by Michael Rey. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,348.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Michael Rey have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work ZAM was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,684.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit RR Chimes II von Michael Rey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.348,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Rey konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit ZAM für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.684,18) versteigert.
