Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work PRE by Michael Rey for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,159.04). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Michael Rey have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2016 by the work ZAM at GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,684.18).

Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit PRE von Michael Rey für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.159,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Rey wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2016 die Arbeit ZAM mit GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.684,18).
