Auction result well in line with expectations
The work FK SOX by Michael Rey was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,118.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Michael Rey have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2016 the work ZAM was auctioned for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,684.18).
