In April 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (From The Series Do You Love Me?) by Michael Raedecker. The result of EUR 20,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Raedecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frisson in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 138,000.00 (€ 204,580.05).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (From The Series Do You Love Me?) von Michael Raedecker zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 20.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Raedecker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frisson im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.000,00 (€ 204.580,05).
