Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (diptych) by Michael Lin was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2013. It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 27,309.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Lin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cool And Sweet, which sold at auction in April 2011 for HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 100,808.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (diptych) von Michael Lin kam im März 2013 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 27.309,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Lin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cool And Sweet beobachtet, die im April 2011 für HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 100.808,31) versteigert wurde.
