Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Engine Bought Separately - Krups II" by Michael Johansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,161.92). Other works by Michael Johansson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2018 by the work "Ghost-II", 2009 at SEK 22,000.00 (€ 2,079.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Engine Bought Separately - Krups II" von Michael Johansson im Mai 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.161,92) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Johansson wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2018 die Arbeit "Ghost-II", 2009 mit SEK 22.000,00 (€ 2.079,01).
