Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Sonya, Poles, Montauk, N.Y. by Michael Dweck. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,294.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Dweck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sonya, Poles (Montauk) in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 168,750.00 (€ 148,914.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sonya, Poles, Montauk, N.Y. von Michael Dweck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.294,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Dweck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sonya, Poles (Montauk) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 168.750,00 (€ 148.914,58).
