Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Sonya', Poles, Montauk, Ny, 2002 by Michael Dweck was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 20,160.00 (€ 22,385.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Dweck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sonya, Poles (Montauk) in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 168,750.00 (€ 148,914.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Sonya', Poles, Montauk, Ny, 2002 von Michael Dweck kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 22.385,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
