Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Michael Dweck could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Photographs auction, the work 'Mermaid #30' changed hands for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,490.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Dweck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sonya, Poles (Montauk) in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 168,750.00 (€ 148,914.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michael Dweck konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Photographs wechselte die Arbeit 'Mermaid #30' für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.490,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Dweck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sonya, Poles (Montauk) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 168.750,00 (€ 148.914,58).
