In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work One-Two-Three, 1965 by Michael Canney. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,676.18), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michael Canney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Offshore Islands in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,184.94).

Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British. Cool. durch, in der auch die Arbeit One-Two-Three, 1965 von Michael Canney zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.676,18) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Canney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Offshore Islands im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.184,94).
