Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Capriccio 2 by Michael Canney was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,112.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Canney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Offshore Islands in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,184.94).

Die Arbeit Capriccio 2 von Michael Canney kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.112,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Canney erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Offshore Islands im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.184,94).
