A top price for Michael Ashkin
In February 2007 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work No. 78 by Michael Ashkin. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,353.74), 15% above the upper estimate. With this result, No. 78 is even the most expensive work of art by Michael Ashkin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Februar 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit No. 78 von Michael Ashkin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.353,74) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist No. 78 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Michael Ashkin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
