Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Michael Ashkin for USD 125.00 (€ 101.50). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Ashkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No. 78 in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,353.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Ashkin für USD 125,00 (€ 101,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Ashkin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No. 78 im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.353,74).
