A top price for Melissa Meyer - as previously expected
This work without title by Melissa Meyer was sold in the Selected Works from the Neuberger Berman and Lehman Brothers Corporate Art Collections auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,216.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Melissa Meyer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Melissa Meyer wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Selected Works from the Neuberger Berman and Lehman Brothers Corporate Art Collections bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.216,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
