Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Koller held the auction Impressionismus & Moderne, which included the work El Locch. 1881-82. by Medardo Rosso. The price achieved of CHF 144,000.00 (€ 119,833.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 125,000.00 – 155,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Medardo Rosso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Enfant Juif, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 341,000.00 (€ 476,973.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Koller die Auktion Impressionismus & Moderne durch, in der auch die Arbeit El Locch. 1881-82. von Medardo Rosso zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 144.000,00 (€ 119.833,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 125.000,00 – 155.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Medardo Rosso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Enfant Juif beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 341.000,00 (€ 476.973,83) versteigert wurde.
