It achieved a price of USD 740,000.00 (€ 671,567.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. Admittedly, works by Maxfield Parrish have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hilltop in November last year with an auction result of USD 6,660,000.00 (€ 6,451,612.90).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 740.000,00 (€ 671.567,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maxfield Parrish auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hilltop im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.660.000,00 (€ 6.451.612,90).
