Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selbstbildnis beim Zeichnen by Max Slevogt was sold in the ExpressionismGermany, Austria and Beyond auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 734.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Slevogt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbildnis im Garten in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 721,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selbstbildnis beim Zeichnen von Max Slevogt wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion ExpressionismGermany, Austria and Beyond bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 640,00 (€ 734,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Slevogt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbildnis im Garten im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 721.500,00.
