Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Shalom Shpilman vendue au profit du Shpilman Institute for Photography, which included the work La Double Mort De Federic Blot, Vers 1932 by Maurice Tabard. The price achieved of EUR 18,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maurice Tabard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Punu Mask, Solarised Film, 1936, which sold at auction in May 2015 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,139.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Shalom Shpilman vendue au profit du Shpilman Institute for Photography durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Double Mort De Federic Blot, Vers 1932 von Maurice Tabard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 18.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Maurice Tabard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Punu Mask, Solarised Film, 1936 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.139,80) versteigert wurde.
