Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art II, which included the work Marée Haute - 1964 by Maurice Brianchon. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,940.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Brianchon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 165,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marée Haute - 1964 von Maurice Brianchon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.940,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Brianchon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 165.600,00.
