Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les péniches by Maurice Brianchon was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,216.00 (€ 1,418.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Brianchon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 165,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les péniches von Maurice Brianchon wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.216,00 (€ 1.418,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Brianchon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 165.600,00.
