The work Nature morte au tapis rouge by Maurice Brianchon was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December last year. It achieved a price of USD 20,400.00 (€ 19,068.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by Maurice Brianchon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 165,600.00.

Die Arbeit Nature morte au tapis rouge von Maurice Brianchon kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 19.068,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Brianchon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 165.600,00.
