Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Elegant Lady Seated In An Interior Receiving A Letter From A Footman by Matthijs Naiveu was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2012. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,582.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthijs Naiveu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elegante Gesellschaft in einem Interieur, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 74,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An Elegant Lady Seated In An Interior Receiving A Letter From A Footman von Matthijs Naiveu kam im Dezember 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.582,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Matthijs Naiveu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Elegante Gesellschaft in einem Interieur beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 74.400,00 versteigert wurde.
