Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Antony and Cleopatra by Matthijs Naiveu was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,648.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matthijs Naiveu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegante Gesellschaft in einem Interieur in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 74,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Antony and Cleopatra von Matthijs Naiveu kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.648,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matthijs Naiveu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elegante Gesellschaft in einem Interieur im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.400,00.
