Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Phillips in London held the auction ULTIMATE Evening & Photographs Day Sales, which included the work Controfacciata, Palazzo Mocenigo by Matthias Schaller. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,387.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthias Schaller - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dis Set, 2008-2009, which sold at auction in November 2020 for EUR 25,000.00.
