Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work DIS 11 by Matthias Schaller. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,276.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Matthias Schaller have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2020 the work Dis Set, 2008-2009 was auctioned for EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit DIS 11 von Matthias Schaller zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.276,96) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Matthias Schaller konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2020 die Arbeit Dis Set, 2008-2009 für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert.
