In April 2017 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Flat Step III by Matteo Negri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,132.97), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matteo Negri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Andante Cantabile Con Moto, which sold at auction in April 2015 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 27,464.61).

Im April 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flat Step III von Matteo Negri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.132,97) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Matteo Negri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Andante Cantabile Con Moto beobachtet, die im April 2015 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 27.464,61) versteigert wurde.
