Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matteo Negri could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work L'ego Mondrian- FRUITJOICE changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,432.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matteo Negri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Andante Cantabile Con Moto in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 27,464.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matteo Negri konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit L'ego Mondrian- FRUITJOICE für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.432,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matteo Negri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Andante Cantabile Con Moto im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 27.464,61).
