Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „smell of the crowd“. by Matt Connors was auctioned at Grisebach in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Connors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Second Pitch - Shift in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „smell of the crowd“. von Matt Connors kam im November 2019 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Connors erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Second Pitch - Shift im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81).
