Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matt Connors could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Druck changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,000.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matt Connors achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Second Pitch - Shift in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Matt Connors konnte im September 2020 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Druck für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.000,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matt Connors erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Second Pitch - Shift im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81).
