Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chakra Chart Redress by Matt Connors was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2020. It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,868.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matt Connors - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Second Pitch - Shift, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,352.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chakra Chart Redress von Matt Connors kam im September 2020 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.868,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Matt Connors mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Second Pitch - Shift beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.352,81) versteigert wurde.
