Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2017 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Provisoirement Sans Titre - 2001 by Mathieu Mercier. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,940.00. Admittedly, works by Mathieu Mercier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diamant in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2017 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Provisoirement Sans Titre - 2001 von Mathieu Mercier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.940,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mathieu Mercier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diamant im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
